At the beginning of 2012, HumanDoc organised foreign editions of the Festival in the capital cities of some post-soviet countries, with screenings of HumanDoc films from 2011.

Students from Kiev (Ukraine), Tbilisi (Georgia) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) had the opportunity to watch some of the best films of the festival, pictures dedicated to the most important social challenges of post-soviet region and productions focused on issues connected with global development: migration, conflicts, contemporary slavery etc.

HumanDoc Festival: Europe – Caucasus – Central Asia is also a platform for discussion. In each of the countries viewers could listen to and participate in panel discussions about subjects presented in the films with representatives of academic environment, NGOs and international organisations.
